Our Alternative Approach to Healing & Fitness

Our goal at Low Tide Wellness is to provide solutions for people to improving their body’s both mentally and physically which is why we provide many different forms of meditation such as Labyrinth Meditation, Sound Baths, and Qi Gong.

Call for Individual Pricing on sessions or group classes not on the monthly schedule. Certain classes (labyrinth and mandala art) require low tide so therefore special booking according to the Tide chart and low tide availability.

Hey, I’m Shane Kern, owner of Low Tide Wellness.   I’ve been a personal trainer for 25 years now.  I started off in a cold gym in downtown Kansas City, Missouri but 5 years in quickly made my way to the sunny beaches of California along my teaching journey.  I worked at a Forbes 5 star rated hotel called the Montage in Laguna Beach as the lead trainer and beach bootcamp instructor for 16 years.  I have met and helped thousands of people from professional athletes, CEO’s, housewives,the elderly, to college water polo teams on their fitness trek.

Over the years I was luckily enough to become a wellness trainer and got to study the holistic side of things.  I was forced to step back and realize that a lot of what I was taught was outdated and knew I had to evolve if I was going to continue to help others. I tried new things like sound baths and Qi Gong, Tai chi.  Working out in the gym is great and functional strength training is a must but I realized through all the outdoor classes I taught over the years that people were definitely happier outside.  I started doing different workouts like Hikes/ band workouts along the way.   Beach bike rides as part of beach bootcamps.  Anything I could do to get my clients cross training and outside to reap all the benefits of nature. In time I realized there is place for all of it and we truly need great exhilarating workouts but also yoga, beach labyrinth meditations, sound baths and different calming and balancing modalities.
